Many cases of eye allergy are caused by indoor allergens such as dust mites or pollen from flowers in the family garden.
Whilst it is not possible to eliminate such allergens completely there are a few simple things which can be done to reduce their effects.
Reducing the Effects of Dust Mites. House dust mites themselves are not the allergen, but it is the droppings which they leave behind. Dust mites like to live in such places as carpets, beds and soft furniture, so a strategy is easily planned to reduce the allergic effect of such tiny pests.
- Use an anti-allergy cover for all mattresses, pillows, and bedcovers.
